Mini Rugby Returns This Saturday

Our mini rugby programme returns this Saturday morning at Ballymore Oval. Sessions run from 10:00am to 11:30am for ages 6-12. All abilities are welcome and no experience is necessary. Just bring boots, a gumshield, and plenty of enthusiasm. Parents are welcome to watch from the clubhouse. Contact our Youth Coordinator Cian Murray for more details.

Match Report: Ballymore 24 Edenderry 17

Ballymore RFC maintained their push for promotion with a hard-fought bonus-point win at home to Edenderry RFC. The hosts started brightly, with Ronan Daly slotting an early penalty before Niall Reilly touched down in the corner after a sweeping backs move. Daly converted to make it 10-0. Sean Molloy crashed over from close range midway through the first half, and Daly's boot made it 17-3 at the break. Edenderry fought back in the second half, scoring two tries to close the gap to seven points, but a late Daly penalty sealed the result. Final score: Ballymore RFC 24, Edenderry RFC 17.

Ballymore RFC Secure Bonus-Point Win Over Edenderry

Ballymore RFC put in a dominant first-half display to secure a bonus-point victory over Edenderry RFC at Ballymore Oval last Saturday. Fly-half Ronan Daly was in superb form, contributing 14 points through the boot, while tries from winger Niall Reilly and number eight Sean Molloy sealed the bonus point before half-time. The second half saw Edenderry rally with two converted tries, but Ballymore's defence held firm to close out a 24-17 victory. Head coach Dave McCarthy praised the squad's discipline and set-piece dominance.
